Eating cucumber can help keep your skin clear. Cucumber contains over 95% water & is said to have amazing internal & external cleansing properties.

Rheumatism may be relieved by drinking small quantities of pure organic cider.

Arthritis & gout could be relieved by eating cherries or drinking cherry wine. Cherries can help by preventing the crystallisation of uric acid that aggravates these conditions.
Eating sunflower seeds may help conditions such as rheumatism & M.S. This could be due to the seeds high Vitamin E content.
Indigestion? Eat slowly & chew properly. Good digestion starts in the mouth. Rushing this crucial stage of digestion means food is harder to break down when it reaches the gut. Chewing properly breaks food down into tiny pieces and tells the gut to send in gastric juices essential for proper digestion & absorption. Try not to eat when you are under stress & avoid drinking anything for at least half an hour before & after eating. A high percentage of the body’s immune system is in the gut so a healthy digestive system means a healthy you!
Eating a small raw carrot after a meal can help to clean your teeth.
Refined sugar is empty of any vitamins & minerals. It also depletes the immune system. If you do indulge in lots of sugary food help support your immune system by taking a good quality vitamin & mineral supplement.
Watch out for products that contain glucose. This is a highly processed product & so can be even more stressful to the body than sugar.
